Portland is a great city with so much potential and the pulse or our city is our small business owners. But the challenges we are facing are going to require some hustle from our leaders. That’s what I do, I hustle. As a fitness model working with some of the leading brands in the world, Portland Police Bureau Equity Advisory Council Member, committee member of Portland Art Museum, and serving 4 years on the Board of Directors for Raphael House of Portland, I never stop hustling to make this community a stronger and brighter place.
I’m Chloe Mason and I’m running for Portland City Council to bring the hustle back to the Rose City. This is why I am the Small Business Owners Candidate.
We need some hustle to fix the situations on our streets by building and siting more shelters and recovery housing, and ending unsanctioned street camping by providing people experiencing houselessness with a safe place to go.
We need some hustle to revitalize our downtown by boosting the local economy, reducing bureaucratic hurdles, and supporting our small business owners who refuse to give up on Portland.
We need some hustle to crack down on fentanyl distribution and get more people into treatment by approaching our addiction crisis with a full continuum of recovery services alongside wraparound support like housing. Portland's fentanyl epidemic is not only jeopardizing the safety of our streets but also taking lives every day.
